Position Available: Finance Executive

(For Law Firm & Chartered Accountant Firm Office)

At THE LAW ASSOCIATES and our associated (Acharya & Associates) and RBN & Co., we are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Finance Executive to manage day-to-day financial, accounting, and compliance support work.

Job Title: Finance Executive

Location: Office-based
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, and financial records for the law firm and CA firm

  • Handle billing, invoicing, receipts, and payment follow-ups

  • Assist in GST compliance – data preparation, reconciliation, and return filing support

  • Support TDS, advance tax, and statutory compliance work

  • Manage client accounts, retainers, and fee tracking

  • Coordinate with chartered accountants, advocates, and consultants for financial documentation

  • Prepare MIS reports, expense statements, and cash flow summaries

  • Ensure proper record keeping, audit support, and file management

  • Handle basic banking work, reconciliations, and correspondence

Qualifications

  • B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance)

  • CA–Inter / CMA–Inter / pursuing CA articleship (preferred but not mandatory)

  • Diploma or certification in Accounting / GST / Tally is an added advantage

Experience

  • 1–3 years experience in:

    • CA firm, law firm, consultancy, or professional office

    • Accounting, taxation, or compliance-related roles

  • Freshers with strong accounting knowledge may also apply

Required Skills

  • Working knowledge of Tally / accounting software

  • Basic understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and email drafting

  • Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail

  • Ability to handle confidential financial and client data

  • Good coordination and communication skills

LAW CLERK

Position Available

(For Law Firm Office)

At THE LAW ASSOCIATES (Acharya & Associates), we invite applications for the position of Law Clerk to support our advocates in legal research, drafting, and court-related work.

Job Title: Law Clerk

Location: Office-based
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Legal research on statutes, case laws, rules, and notifications

  • Drafting and assisting in preparation of:

    • Plaints, written statements, applications, affidavits, replies, rejoinders

    • Legal notices, opinions, agreements, and compliance documents

  • Assist advocates in court filings, e-filing, certified copies, and documentation

  • Maintain case files, indexes, cause lists, and hearing schedules

  • Coordinate with courts, clients, and government departments when required

  • Assist during litigation, arbitration, mediation, and compliance matters

  • Maintain confidentiality of all legal and client-related information

Qualifications

  • LLB (3-year or 5-year course) – completed or final-year students

  • Enrolment with State Bar Council (preferred but not mandatory for clerk role)

  • Additional diploma/certification in drafting or legal research is an advantage

Experience

  • 0–2 years experience in:

    • Law firm, advocate office, or legal consultancy

  • Fresh law graduates with good drafting and research skills are encouraged to apply

Required Skills

  • Strong legal research and drafting skills

  • Basic knowledge of:

    • Civil Procedure Code (CPC)

    • Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC)

    • Contract Act, MSME laws, GST basics (preferred)

  • Familiarity with eCourts, e-filing portals, and legal databases

  • Proficiency in MS Word, PDF handling, and basic office tools

  • Good communication and organizational skills

  • Disciplined and detail-oriented

  • Willingness to learn court practice and procedure

  • Ability to work under deadlines

  • Professional ethics and confidentiality
